Information - free and impartial information on any issues relating to limb-loss.
Volunteer Visitors - free face-to-face visits from one of our 100 amputee volunteers in the UK.
Membership - join a national limb-loss community and add your voice to the issues that matter. Be included on the only register for UK amputees and join a growing association of UK prosthetic patients. Our strength is in our unity so please Join Now.
Step Forward Magazine - our quarterly membership publication, offering news, views, readers' letters, general advice and relevant industry news and features.
Limb Loss Legal Panel - free legal advice on any issue from a panel of solicitors who specialise in limb-loss and traumatic injury.
Parliamentary - lobbying and parliamentary advisory service for the promotion of excellence within the limb-loss and healthcare communities in the UK and Internationally. Representing the limb-loss community within Parliament and Whitehall and providing information and secretarial services to the Associate Parliamentary Limb Loss Group (APLLG).
Fundraising - as a charity it is vital that we continue to raise the funds we need to continue our charitable work and sustain our long-term future. If you would like to become a fundraiser for the LA, or would like to take part in a specific event, we can support you and offer help and guidance on the most effective ways to fundraising.
Sports+ - information and advice on all applicable sports and fitness activities and a national directory of useful contacts and sporting associations.
Discussion Forum - a safe and secure online Discussion Forum for LA members to share ideas, post or answer questions, socialise with other members or discuss any issues they wish, with feedback and assistance from the LA Information Bureau Supervisor.
User Groups & Local Support Groups - a network of patient support groups providing a friendly and sociable environment for people to meet other amputees in their local area. User Groups hold regular meetings, often based at the local Limb Fitting Centre.
Awards, Grants & Prizes - recognizing, rewarding and promoting excellence in the limb-loss and healthcare communities through a series of LA grants and prizes. These include our annual Prosthetic & Orthotics (P&O) Awards celebrating outstanding achievements by individuals and groups from the limb-loss and healthcare communities and highlighting exceptional products and innovations.
