The Limbless Association is committed to developing amputee football across the UK.
We are pleased to sign post amputees to the session nearest to them in London, Manchester and Sheffield or east anglia.
The London Amputees are always looking for new players to join their team. Upper or lower limb amputees of all ages are invited to attend our professional training session. we have amputees who play using crutches and take there leg off as well.
London Amputee training sessions take place on Sundays from 9.30am to 11.30am at:

We are proud and privileged to be appointed to the newly formed Derek Dooley MBE "Goals" Football Academy for amputees and people with additional needs.
Derek (who died on March the 5th of this year 2008) was maybe the most well known professional footballer from his days at Sheffield Wednesday, when he was their most prolific centre forward. He scored the most goals in the least number of games over 50 years ago and that record still holds today.
It was whilst playing against Preston North End that he had an accident which tragically led to him losing his leg and becoming an amputee himself. He courageously carried on with his life in football management despite his disability, was greatly admired by all who knew him and retired from football as Chairman of Sheffield United Football Club.
Because amputee football is almost unknown in this area, we are searching Yorkshire and surrounding districts, hospitals and limbless associations for all amputees who want to play and learn the skills of football which we know will make a very big difference to their lives - male or female all ages.
We have contacts at Leeds, Nottingham, Derby and York who are all very excited about this project. We have physios, coaches, prosthetics on our staff and we will always be looking for further staff to join us at the Derek Dooley(MBE)Football academy for amputees.
Our aim is to have a Derek Dooley MBE Football Academy for amputees in other parts of our area to start an amputee football league to play against other teams in other locations.
