There are many ways you can support the LA through fundraising activities. You can visit our JustGiving Fundraising Area here and create your own fundraising page, organise your own event and receive online donations.

You can support us and raise money in various ways and we are here to help you with your plans. Here are some ideas of what you could do.

Organise a Sponsored Activity

Sponsored Skydive There are many events and activities that you could organise yourself or take part in to fundraise for the LA.

In some cases you may organise an event yourself and we will support you. In other cases, you may simply take part in an activity organised by someone else to raise money for the LA and finally you could attend an event or take part in an activity organised by the LA directly- all you need to do is inform us of what you would like to do and we will help you to organise it and give you information on how to promote your event and increase your fundraising potential.

We greatly value your support and we would love to hear how you get on afterwards, so please email us with your success stories and pictures so we can publish the best ones in Step Forward Magazine and on our website.

Take Part In An Organised Event

We can offer you a high level of support to help you with your fundraising efforts, as well as support you during your training & event preparation. Our fundraising support includes:

An online fundraising page, where people can make donations.
A fundraising pack, which includes sponsorship forms.
A LA running vest (please contact us with your size, otherwise we will automatically send you a large).
A CD-Rom with videos and other useful marketing materials to help you fundraise.

Sell Your Unwanted Items On eBay

Turn your clutter into funds for the LA through eBay!

It couldn't be simpler to support the LA through "eBay for Charity". You can choose to donate anything between 10 - 100% of your final selling price, helping amputees in the UK access our programmes free-of-charge.

Whether you already sell items on eBay, or would like to in the future, it's easy to donate a percentage of the final sale price to the LA. Just follow these simple instructions:

Go to the Sell page on "eBay for Charities" page and choose 'Start selling now'.
Write a description of your item and make sure you choose 'Advanced Sell', eBay will then ask you to sign into My eBay. You will need to register if you don't already have an eBay account.
Complete the required fields to sell your item. When you reach the charity box, just below where you set your price, select Limbless Association from the drop-down menu. This will automatically change your listing to an eBay for Charity listing and display the charity bow.
Select a percentage of the sale you would like to donate to Limbless Association. You can donate anything from 10 - 100%.
Complete the rest of the listing and submit your sale. It's as easy as that!
