Football+ is a partnership between the Limbless Association and Chelsea FC Football In The Community and aims to increase local playing opportunities for people with disabilities, establish a competitive structure, create performance pathways to excellence and raise the profile and awareness of football for people with disabilities.
Our Chelsea Community FC Ability Counts teams enjoy professional football coaching, tournaments and play in FA recognised leagues and cups. In 2007 we became champions of the London and South East Ability Counts Premier League and FA Cup.
Chelsea Community FC is the official pan-disability football club of Chelsea FC. At present, we run 10 football teams, providing football for all impairment groups, male and female, from the age of 7 upwards. The Football+ project also delivers coaching sessions to several schools and community schemes in London and the South-East. The new Football+ National scheme will aid the development of Amputee Football across the UK.
