In the last week, staff at the Limbless Association have been at two events raising awareness of the support and services we can offer to U.K. Amputees.

On July 10th we were at the 25th Anniversary event in Warrington for Disability Awareness Day.  The picture below shows our stand at the event, with  volunteer extraordiniare, Ian,  ready to greet visitors to the stand.    The team at the event, Kevin, Michael and Ian were able to give out a number of information packs on the day as well as answering enquiries about a range of issues of  importance to people with limb loss, their friends and families and also to medical and prosthetic  support staff.

Four days later, we had our own Tray Bake event in Chelmsford, Essex, outside our Head Office premises.  This was one of a number of tray bake events that were taking place across the country last Thursday,  hosted by  the charity's friends and supporters.  Again all these events were designed to raise awareness locally of the services that the charity offers.  We were pleased with the turn out  and interest at the event and are looking forward now to feedback from the other events hosted on our behalf on the day.

PRIZE DRAW WINNER:   The Limbless Association held a recent free prize draw which was available for entry to all those visiting our stands at the two events.  We are very pleased to say that the winner of our first prize, a £25.00 M & S gift voucher,  was won by Colin from DICE Doncaster , a visitor visiting our stand at the Warrington event. His prize will be on  its way to him shortly.

Congratulations Colin from everyone here!
